Important Information - Please read before booking
1. The Artful Dabber is not able to paint or glitter any child or adult who does not want to be painted.
2. Children under 3 years of age are not able to be painted on their faces or have temporary tattoos as they are not covered by my public liability insurance. However the Artful Dabber is happy to paint a very small design on the back of their hand if the parent/carer agrees and the child is willing.
3. All customers faces (and bodies) must be spotlessly clean before any face/body art service is provided to help prevent infection.
3. Any known allergies must be declared by an adult customer or a child's parent/guardian prior to any face/body paint or glitter being applied.
4. Anyone who appears physically unwell, has head-lice, an eye or skin infection, or visible wounds, cannot be painted/glittered.
5. The Artful Dabber works much more effectively in a 'good manners' zone. Courtesy and respect is given and is expected in return at all times (even whilst waiting in long queues).
6. Whilst painting/glittering customers are required to give the maximum space around The Artful Dabber to avoid accidents and knocking or jogging which ruins designs.
7. All face-paints/glitters in my kits must not be handled by anyone else but The Artful Dabber to avoid contamination. Please ensure little fingers do not touch any products.
8. The Artful Dabber requires a 15 minute break every 2 hours of working to stretch back, legs and arms, go to the loo (!), have a drink, and avoid any long term injury. Should an assistant have not accompanied them, the event organiser is required to ensure this short interval in service is taken.
9. The Artful Dabber has DBS clearance.
10. Please ensure that parents/carers supervise children at all times and do not leave them with The Artful Dabber at any event. Any child left un-supervised will cause The Artful Dabber to stop working and take the child directly to the event organiser. for the child's safety.
10. The Artful Dabber has public liability insurance, and can provide a full risk assessment upon request.
11. All products used by The Artful Dabber are professional grade, EU compliant and hypo-allergenic.
12. Face and body paints should be removed with soap and water. Glitter can be removed with a pad of coconut oil or baby oil. Be very careful to avoid wiping glitter towards eyes.
13. In the rare event of a Met Office issued severe weather warning whereby the public are advised not to travel or it would be unsafe to erect a temporary structure (gazebo) outside , The Artful Dabber reserves the right to withdraw from the event at short notice. In this instance a full refund will be provided.
14. The Artful Dabber reserves the right to withdraw from any event at short notice on the grounds of personal and public safety. In this instance a full refund will be provided.
